Webquest Project Guide
(feel free to print this page)
To help you along, read, discuss, and answer the following
questions and/or ideas with your group.
Remember, the major goal of this project is about how well you and your
group can put together an educational yet entertaining video in a cooperative
and resourceful way. Everyone must work
together.
Answer the following questions/statements as a “check list” for
how well your group is doing:
- Has everyone
read the webquest and understand the assignment?
- What
character is everyone going to be?
- Does
everyone understand items discussed about the moon in class and kept up
with assignments and homework?
- Can
everyone define various terms related to the moon such as the moon phases,
eclipse, maria,
craters, the Aitken Basin, etc…?
- Has
everyone written the required “background” information pertaining to their
character?
- Does
everyone have full references for the “background” information?
- Do we
have a basic outline or script for the video?
- What
materials or special effects do we need?
- Do we
have to make special arrangements at school (ie
the use of a room or video editing)?
- When
are we going to shoot the video?
- Do we
have a “rain” date for shooting the video?
- Where
are we going to shoot the video?
- Do we
need to send out an “emergency beacon” (email to Mr
B) from the webquest at this time with any
concerns or questions?
- What
other people are going to help with making the video?
- Does
everyone understand that they have to say a required amount of
“background” information during the video?
- Do we
have all of our resources, information, outline/script, etc… in a folder
to be turned in as the portfolio along with the video?
- Do we
have the right video format (ie. standard VHS)?
- Have
we checked the webquest rubric to ensure we did
everything?
- Is
there anything extra we can do to help promote the project?
- Did we
have a good time?
